Village Roadshow Entertainment has made a number of additions and promotions: Nick Gordon to Vice President of Feature Films at Village Roadshow Pictures (VRP) and Ann McKay to Creative Director of VRP. Elizabeth Elliott has joined VREG as Executive Vice President of Business Affairs. Gordon and McKay will report to Gillian Appelbaum and Tristen Tuckfield, VRP's Executive Vice Presidents of Feature Films. Elliott will report to Louis Santor, director of VREG.

Their contributions to the department have have been outstanding and we will benefit greatly from their work as all of our projects move forward, as it is," said Appelbaum and Tuckfield.
More than the deadline
Gordon supported the VRP plan, joining the company in 2019 as director of development. He recently directed the production of Heathers: The Musical and was instrumental in the packaging and development of VRP projects such as Night of the Living Dead . Competitive status with MGM in December 2022; Producer Matt Reeves' remake of the popular Russian horror film SPUTNIK; and an untitled comedy written by comedian Taylor Tomlinson and directed by Paul Weitz. He also runs the Village Roadshow Bloodlist initiative, overseeing the process of creating genre features from young voices. Prior to VRP, Gordon was executive director of development at Imperative Entertainment, working on film and television, including the Palme d'Or winner The Square and Triangle of Sorrow , Martin Scorsese's The Flower Moon Killers and Mindy's Late Night .Kaling. McKay has been with VRP since January 2022. He joins Yale Productions, where he produced and financed several films, including Together Alone, written and directed by Katie Holmes, Rogue Hostage, directed by John Malkovich , and The Prepper . and How They Made Us , written and directed by Emmy nominee Mayim Balik and starring Dustin Hoffman and Simon Helberg.
Elliott joins VREG after three years at Netflix, where he served as business and legal counsel, overseeing development, production and finance for the company's portfolio of big-budget films, including Don't Look Up , Luther and Luther. He was previously Senior Vice President of Legal and Business Affairs at Lionsgate, writing acquisition and co-financing deals for motion pictures, home entertainment and acquisitions, working with domestic and international partners on the films Knives Out , "Long Journey " . bombs
Gordon, McKay and Elliott will carry a slate of upcoming VRP releases including Pam Greer starring Cinnamon and Murder City starring Damon Wayans and Mike Colter, two Black adventure noir titles released in partnership with nba. Content to create scripted and unscripted projects that capture the empowering spirit of black cartel legend Kevin Garnett.
