Malaysia Airlines’ EnrichMoney has finally added support for DuitNow and DuitNow QR. This transforms the app into a more usable eWallet, allowing users to spend at any merchant that displays the DuitNow QR code.
EnrichMoney already comes with a physical Visa prepaid card with a multi-currency wallet which you can use at Visa merchants worldwide. The latest update expands its payment touchpoints to cover over 1.8 million DuitNow QR merchants in Malaysia.
EnrichMoney users can now pay at DuitNow QR merchants
To get the new DuitNow QR feature, just update the EnrichMoney app which is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. The previous big SEND button at the bottom of the screen is now replaced with SCAN, which lets you scan QR codes using your phone’s camera. Similar to GXBank, you can only scan QR codes at the moment and you can’t show your QR code to the merchant.
EnrichMoney also has a new DuitNow QR receive feature which allows others to send money to your EnrichMoney account by scanning your personal QR code. Alternatively, you can also receive money by sharing your DuitNow account details to the sender. You could also set your EnrichMoney account to be the default receiving account when someone sends you money using your mobile number. Similarly, you can also send money to other bank accounts via DuitNow by simply entering the recipient’s mobile or IC number.
EnrichMoney DuitNow QR Cashback promo
For a limited time in conjunction with Matta Fair, EnrichMoney is offering cashback promos when you spend using DuitNow QR from now until 30th March 2024. EnrichMoney eWallet users can get RM10 cashback with a minimum spend of RM20 on a single receipt. However, this offer is only limited to the first 1,200 DuitNow QR pay transactions and the promo will cease once the cashback limit is reached. Each user is entitled to enjoy up to two cashbacks, capped at RM20 per user throughout the period.
On top of that, EnrichMoney is also rewarding the top 10 DuitNow QR spenders at any participating merchants until 30th March 2024. If you’re among the top 10, you will receive a one-time cash reward of RM888 in your EnrichMoney wallet.
