Asus Malaysia has started accepting pre-orders for its new Vivobook S 15 OLED, its first Snapdragon X Elite-powered laptop. As part of its pre-order offer, you can enjoy an exclusive pre-order bundle worth RM698.

Asus Malaysia currently offers a single variant for the Vivobook S 15 OLED. The Vivobook S 15 (S5507) with Snapdragon X Elite X1E-78-100 Processor, 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD is priced at RM6,299 and is only offered in a single Cool Silver colour option.

Asus Vivobook S 15 OLED Malaysia specs and features
The Asus Vivobook S 15 (S5507) features a 15.6″ 3K (2880×1620 pixels resolution) 16:9 Asus Lumina OLED display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 600 nits. It boasts 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut and a 0.2ms response time.
As mentioned earlier, Asus Malaysia is only offering a single variant which runs on Qualcomm’s 4nm Snapdragon X Elite X1E-78-100 (12-core Oryon CPU clocked up to 3.4GHz), with 32GB of LPDDR5X 8448MHz RAM and 1TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD.
The Vivobook S 15 features an all-metal body design that’s 1.47cm thin and it weighs 1.42kg. Despite being ultra-portable, Asus says the laptop has also been tested to rigorous MIL-STD 810H military standards.
As most would expect from a 15″ laptop, it also gets a full-sized keyboard with a numpad along with RGB backlighting. Also included is an Asus ErgoSense touchpad which provides extra smart gesture controls such as adjusting screen brightness and audio volume by swiping at the edges.
For power users, you’ll appreciate the provided I/O ports for the Vivobook S 15 OLED. It has two full-sized USB-3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, two USB4 ports that support external displays, a HDMI 2.1 TMDS port, a microSD card reader and an audio jack.
In terms of wireless connectivity, it also supports WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 The laptop also features an IR front camera for instant unlocking and it also has a physical webcam cover for better privacy.
The Vivobook S 15 OLED has a 70Wh battery which is rated to last over 18 hours for entertainment and productivity use on a single charge. It also supports fast charging capable of pushing up to 60% charge in 49 minutes, as well as USB-C Easy Charge, which enables you to trickle charge from slower USB-C power sources such as a power bank or certified 5-20V USB-C PD chargers.
