Xiaomi has just released its latest budget-oriented smartphone under its Redmi brand – the Redmi 14C here in Malaysia, with two variants offered.

Redmi 14C Malaysia price and availability

You can purchase the Redmi 14C starting 13th September 2024. As mentioned above, two variants are offered with the Redmi 14C in the country. Pricing details are as follows:

  • Redmi 14C (6GB + 128GB) – RM449
  • Redmi 14C (8GB + 256GB) – RM599

Interestingly, the Redmi 14C sports a lower price tag than the Redmi 13C which is available with a sole variant at RM499. The Redmi 14C can be purchased via Xiaomi’s authorised dealers nationwide, the Xiaomi online store, as well as Xiaomi’s official online stores on Lazada and Shopee, starting 13th September this year.

Redmi 14C specs and features

The Redmi 14C sports glass panels at the front and back, along with a plastic frame. Four colour options are offered with this smartphone, namely Midnight Black, Dreamy Purple, Starry Blue, and Sage Green.

At the front, the Redmi 14C is equipped with a 6.88-inch HD+ 120Hz (1640 x 720 pixels) display which has a pixel density of 260ppi. Powering the smartphone is the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra chip, paired with either 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage or 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Connectivity-wise, the Redmi 14C comes with NFC, 4G, and Bluetooth 5.4.

In the imaging department, the Redmi 14C comes with a main 50MP f/1.8 rear camera which can shoot videos at up to 1080p at 30fps, a 2MP f/2.4 depth camera, and a 0.08MP auxiliary lens. At the front, you get a 13MP f/2.0 selfie shooter.

The Redmi 14C packs a 5160mAh battery which supports 18W wired fast charging via USB-C. Also included is a mono speaker setup and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Software-wise, the Redmi 14C runs on Xiaomi’s HyperOS, which is based on Android 14.
