Here is where things may get a little bit confusing. On the main page of GoPro Malaysia’s official Shopee Mall store, there is a banner which says that the new Hero (2024) is available for pre-order at RM999.

However, depending on the platform that you use to visit Shopee (web or mobile), the price for the Hero (2024) might be listed as RM1,149 instead. Don’t panic just yet – all you need to do is make sure to use the store’s RM150 discount voucher to reduce the price tag to RM999.

Don’t forget to apply the discount voucher if you are going to pre-order Hero (2024) through GoPro Malaysia’s official Shopee Mall store.

Alternatively, you may place your pre-order at authorised GoPro dealers. One such example is Shahshinki who also listed the new Hero (2024) at RM999.

Weighing at just 86g, the Hero (2024) is quite tiny although still larger than the Hero Session models of yesteryear. The 4K action camera is equipped with a 12MP sensor alongside a 15mm f/2.3 lens and a hydrophobic cover glass that can be swapped out if it gets damaged.

Despite its tiny footprint, there is still a 1.76-inch touchscreen on its back. In terms of battery life, GoPro claimed that the camera’s 1255mAh built-in battery can deliver up to 1 hour and 40 minutes of recording time with the highest video setting.
