Sime Darby Motors has celebrated a new milestone where it has sold over 10,000 BYD electric vehicles (EV) in Malaysia. The Chinese car brand made its official local debut in December 2022 with the BYD Atto 3 and is currently the best-selling EV brand in Malaysia.
To mark the occasion, Sime Darby Motors had organised a convoy drive for BYD Owners to Melaka which coincided with the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Malaysia and China. A total of 60 BYD cars were flagged off from the BYD showroom in Ara Damansara for the 2D1N trip to Melaka.
