After months of teasers, Leapmotor C10 is now officially available in Malaysia. The launch not only marked Leapmotor’s entry into our market but it is also the first EV from Stellantis for Malaysia.
In case you are confused, Leapmotor International is responsible for Leapmotor’s products outside of China. The company itself is a joint venture between both automotive corporations with 51% of Leapmotor International belonging to Stellantis and the rest owned by Leapmotor.
Leapmotor C10 Malaysia pricing, colourways, warranty
In Malaysia, there will be only one variant of Leapmotor C10 which has an introductory price tag of RM149,000 on-the-road not inclusive of insurance. After 30 November, the price will then go back to RM159,000.
There are four colour options altogether including Glazed Green, Pearly White, Canopy Grey, and Tundra Grey. As for its interior, the standard option is Midnight Aurora although those who choose the Glazed Green exterior colour can opt for the Criollo Brown.
The EV also comes with a 6-year / 150,000km warranty just for the vehicle alone which consists of a 4-year standard warranty and a 2-year extended warranty. There is also a separate 8-year / 160,000km warranty for its battery.
Leapmotor C10 quick specs
Featuring a rear-wheel drive setup, the Leapmotor C10 for our market has been fitted with a 160kW (214hp) electric motor that also produces 320Nm of torque. It allows the electric SUV to go from 0-100km/h in 7.5 seconds and a top speed of 170km/h.
Battery-wise, the Leapmotor C10 carries a 69.9kWh battery pack which allows it to provide a WLTP-rated range of up to 424km. As for charging, the EV can support DC charging speed of up to 84kW which allows it to be charged from 30% to 80% in 30 minutes.
The electric SUV also comes with a 6.6kW AC onboard charger. As per tradition with Chinese-made EVs, the Leapmotor C10 also has a 3.3kW Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) feature which allows it to power external electrical appliances.
