Teased earlier this year, the Samsung Bespoke AI Laundry Combo has finally arrived in Malaysia. This is Samsung’s flagship washer and dryer combo and it boasts intelligent and smart home features powered by AI. Not only its form factor saves space, it is also designed to help you save time and money with its power-efficient design.
Largest and smartest washer and dryer combo
The Samsung Bespoke AI Laundry Combo boasts the largest capacity in the industry, capable of taking up to 25kg loads for washer and up to 15kg for dryer. That’s big enough to fit large items including a king-sized comforter.
While all-in-one washer and dryers aren’t new, Samsung is taking a step further by implementing Samsung’s Ecobubble technology and heatpump technology. As a result, Samsung’s new all-in-one washer claims to offer the same performance as having two separate machines. Installation is also easier, as it features a ventless design thanks to its ventless heat pump.
Equipped with a 7″ touch-screen LCD display, the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo is smarter than your average washing machine. Utilising AI and sensors, it can detect the soil level and fabric type of your clothes, and will then choose the right amount of water, detergent and wash cycle to do the job. Samsung reckons that the more you use it, it more intelligent it gets as it continuously learns individual styles.
Being a connected device, the touchscreen functions like a tablet and it provides clear information about your wash and drying cycles. It comes preloaded with various native apps including the weather, SmartThings and web browser. If you really need to, you can even play YouTube videos while doing your laundry.
To prevent unpleasant dump smells that often occur if you don’t take out your clothes immediately, you can even set it to auto open door after the cycle ends.
The Samsung Bespoke AI Laundry Combo is also connected to Samsung’s SmartThings ecosystem and it supports Bixby voice commands. From the washing machine, you can control other smart home appliances including Samsung’s Jet Bot AI+ robot vacuum.
What’s more impressive is that the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo is able to answer incoming calls on your Samsung Galaxy smartphone. Similarly, users can monitor and manage the washer’s progress and receive notifications from other connected Samsung and Galaxy devices.
Why a 2-in-1 Washer and Driver combo?
When we asked Samsung if consumers are still reluctant to choose an all-in-one design over separate washers and dryers, we were told that the response towards the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo has been very encouraging. When it was launched in Korea, they sold 1,000 units in just a few days, and 10,000 units were sold in just two months, which are strong indicators that consumers are embracing the product.
One of the main motivators is that the all-in-one design addresses concerns of constrained space without compromising on performance. Compared to a typical washer + dryer setup, the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo occupies far less footprint or height when stacked on top of one another.
Since it uses an all-in-one design, the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo provides a seamless and hassle-free experience as you no longer need to manually transfer your clothes from one machine to another.
Of course, independent washer and dryer setups have their own benefits for larger families. With a separate washer and dryer, households with even larger loads could save time by washing and drying simultaneously.
Saves you time and effort
The Samsung Bespoke AI Laundry Combo boasts a heat exchanger that’s just as large as a Bespoke dryer. The large heat exchange surface allows an efficient flow and on a normal drying load (about 6kg), it delivers the same drying performance as a full-size dryer.
If you’re in a hurry, there’s a Super Speed cycle mode which can quickly wash and dry your clothes gently in just 98 minutes. This mode is recommended for a light load of 3kg which Samsung says is equivalent to 17 shirts and covers 72.9% of daily use rate.
Besides saving time, the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo is also big on energy efficiency. Some of its features include AI energy mode which helps to reduce energy for washing by up to 60% and for drying by up to 30%. As a result, the new Bespoke AI laundry combo claims to use as little as a quarter of the energy used by previous conventional Samsung washer combo models, while reducing drying time by up to 60%.
Users can also monitor their power consumption including the cost of electricity per wash by going through the Energy section under SmartThings. From the app on your smartphone, you can view your monthly power consumption and compare it against previous months.
Another convenient feature is the built-in Flex Auto Dispenser which is mounted on the base of the Samsung Bespoke AI Laundy Combo. This means you won’t need to faff about washing detergent and softener for each wash and leave the Samsung Bespoke AI Laundry Combo to dispense the right amount for every wash.
The dispenser can hold 34 loads of softener and 25 loads of detergent, or up to 47 loads of detergent with both compartments used. This means you would only need to refill the dispenser probably once every one or two months, and you will be notified if the detergent level is low.

For ease of maintenance, the all-in-one combo also has auto condenser cleaning which removes lint and dirt before the start of a drying cycle. The built-in Self Clean+ feature also helps to clean the drum by soaking it and spraying a powerful water jet before using hot air to dry the remaining moisture.
Samsung Bespoke AI Laundry Combo now available in Malaysia
The Samsung Bespoke AI Laundry Combo is now officially available in Malaysia with a retail price of RM14,999. For a limited time, it can be yours with a promo price of RM12,999 or from RM361.08/month on a 0% interest instalment plan until 31st December 2024.
Buyers are also given the option to add-on 1+3 Years Extended Warranty for RM2,482.92 or 1+4 Years Extended Warranty for RM3,022.92. The digital inverter motor comes with a 20-year warranty which is said to be the industry’s longest.
