OPPO has officially unveiled the Reno13 series, powered by MediaTek’s latest Dimensity 8350 processor. This launch highlights the close collaboration between OPPO and MediaTek, delivering advancements in power efficiency, gaming, and AI capabilities.

The Dimensity 8350 is built using TSMC’s second-generation 4nm process and features MediaTek’s advanced neural processing unit (NPU). According to OPPO, the chip offers up to an 8x improvement in generative AI processing, supports large language models (LLMs) with up to 10 billion parameters, and achieves a 3.3x boost in AI performance compared to previous iterations.
These improvements promise to deliver a balance of higher performance and reduced power consumption. Dr. Yenchi Lee, General Manager of MediaTek’s Wireless Communications Business Unit, shared, “The MediaTek Dimensity 8350 provides OPPO with powerful technologies in AI, imaging, and gaming, allowing users to truly feel a more responsive smartphone with exciting AI-driven experiences in the new OPPO Reno13 Series.”
With the Reno13 series, OPPO has emphasized AI-powered imaging and gaming enhancements. The processor integrates with OPPO’s HyperTone Engine to enable faster and more refined image processing. For gamers, the Mali-G615 GPU within the chip is claimed to deliver a 60% boost in peak performance while improving energy efficiency by up to 55%.
