In late 2024, it was confirmed that the OnePlus 13 will be making its global debut on the 7th of January 2025. OnePlus has also confirmed that the device will be made available in Malaysia at 11 PM. However, before that takes place, what seems to be the official price and configuration details of the OnePlus 13 have been “leaked” by OnePlus retailers.
OnePlus 13 to be sold at RM4,399 with a sole configuration?
According to two of OnePlus’ retailers, namely SS Solution and Pocket Smarts, the OnePlus 13 will be offered in Malaysia with a sole 16GB RAM + 512GB storage configuration, along with an official price tag of RM4,399. Interestingly, this is RM200 lower than the launch price of the OnePlus 12 with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
But since we’re still more than a day away from the official launch of the device in Malaysia, there’s still a possibility that the OnePlus 13 might be available with more configurations.
OnePlus 13 pre-orders open till 10th January with free gifts
What’s for sure is that order books for the OnePlus 13 are open in Malaysia until the 10th of January. During this period, OnePlus is also offering free gifts worth up to RM547:
- 100W SuperVooc Charging set (worth RM199)
- OnePlus Magnetic Phone Casing (worth RM149)
- 5000mAh OnePlus Magnetic Powerbank (worth RM199)
OnePlus retailers such as DirectD and SS Solution are also throwing in additional goodies such as free TrendMicro Mobile Security subscriptions, hotel vouchers, car chargers, and Bluetooth speakers.
OnePlus 13 specs and features
As a refresher, the OnePlus 13 is equipped with a 6.82-inch quad HD+ LTPO OLED display with a resolution of 3168 x 1440 pixels and an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Powering the device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. In China, the phone can be had with up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
Thus far, it looks like the OnePlus 13 is offered with a sole 16GB+512GB configuration, but since we are still over a day before it’s officially made available in Malaysia, there are still chances for changes to happen.
In the imaging department, the OnePlus is fitted with a rear triple camera setup that’s tuned in collaboration with Swedish camera maker Hasselblad. This consists of a 50MP f/1.6 primary camera with a 1/1.4″ Sony LYT-808 sensor and OIS, a 50MP f/2.0 ultrawide shooter, and a 50MP f/2.6 periscope telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom capabilities. At the front, the OnePlus 13 gets a 32MP selfie shooter.
Additionally, the OnePlus 13 is rated for IP68/69, making it dust- and water-resistant, and also comes with dual stereo speakers, along with a four-mic setup with AI noise cancellation. Oh, it’s also got an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
Allowing the phone to run is a 6,000mAh battery, which can be charged at 100W via a USC-C cable, or wirelessly at 50W. The global variant of the OnePlus 13 is expected to run on the brand’s latest OxygenOS 15, built atop Android 15.
Besides the OnePlus 13, the company is also expected to soon introduce its more affordable sibling, the OnePlus 13R, which is reported to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip and comes with a 6,000mAh battery.
