Oppo’s latest lineup of premium midrange smartphones, the Oppo Reno 13 series, has finally made its official launch in Malaysia. The series consists of three models, namely the Oppo Reno 13 5G, the Oppo Reno 13 Pro 5G, and the Oppo Reno 13 F 5G.

Oppo Reno 13 series Malaysia specs and features
Let’s start with colour options, shall we? The Oppo Reno 13 is offered in either Luminous Blue or Plume White, while the Reno 13 Pro can be had in Plume Purple or Graphite Grey. The more wallet-friendly Oppo Reno 13 F is available in three colour options – Luminous Blue, Graphite Grey, and Plume Purple.
The Purple and White models come with a subtle butterfly pattern on their backs, reminding me of the Barbie movies my sister used to watch when she was younger.
The Blue option on the other hand sports a design element dubbed “Luminous Loop” around the rear camera island that will “illuminate” when light hits it. Oppo says this design is inspired by celestial meteor showers and “blue tears” that can be occasionally spotted at certain beaches, including in Malaysia.
In terms of display, the Oppo Reno 13 comes with a 6.59-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2760 x 1256 pixels, while the Reno 13 Pro sports a larger 6.83-inch panel with a resolution of 2800 x 1271 pixels. As for the Reno 13 F, it gets a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a pixel count of 2400 x 1080. All three panels come with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Powering the Reno 13 and Reno 13 Pro is MediaTek’s Dimensity 8350 chipset, while the Reno 13 F gets Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC.
On the camera side of things, you get a 50MP f/1.8 main camera with a 1/1.56″ Sony IMX890 sensor and an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide camera throughout all three models. The Reno 13 Pro also gets an additional 50MP f/2.8 telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom capabilities, while the vanilla Reno 13 and Reno 13 F get a 2MP f/2.4 monochrome lens instead.
Durability is also taken care of as the Oppo Reno 13 series is made to be dust and water-resistant. The Reno 13 and Reno 13 Pro in particular are rated for IP66/68/69, allowing them to be able to withstand water for up to 2 meters deep for up to 30 minutes as well as water splashes of up to 80°C.
Oppo has even packed the phones with an Underwater Mode within its camera app, allowing you to snap photos and videos underwater by using the volume buttons. The phone will also play a tone to create vibrations and thus eject water out of its speakers when you exit the Underwater Mode, helping it dry quicker.
In the battery department, you get a 5,600mAh cell with the regular Oppo Reno 13, and a 5,800mAh cell on the Reno 13 Pro and Reno 13 F. The Reno 13 and Reno 13 Pro can handle wired charging using Oppo’s 80W SuperVooc technology, while the Reno 13 F can charge at 45W.
All devices in the Oppo Reno 13 series run on the brand’s latest ColorOS 15, built atop Google’s Android 15.
