If you’ve been waiting for the Galaxy S25 series, you don’t have to wait much longer. Samsung has announced that its next Galaxy Unpacked event is happening on 22nd January 2025 at San Jose, California.
From the official teaser, it appears that we might see a total of four Galaxy smartphones and the main focus will be on Galaxy AI.
Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event details
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event is happening at 2:00am (Malaysian Time) on 23rd January 2025 (Thursday). You can watch the live event on Samsung’s official YouTube channel and website.
If you’re interested to be among the first to get it, Samsung Malaysia is offering RM200 eVoucher on your next Galaxy device if you register your interest online.
In addition, Samsung is also offering customers a chance to win prizes worth a total of more than RM16,000.

What to expect from Samsung Galaxy S25 lineup?
As mentioned by Samsung, the new smartphones will unveil a new chapter in mobile AI which would bring seamless convenience into your everyday life.
When it comes to expected improvements, Samsung says that the upcoming Galaxy S series devices brings sleek, lightweight functionality in a durable package. It added that the new Galaxy devices are taking personalised intelligence to the next level with Galaxy AI and One UI 7, which enables you to to do more, efficiently. The improvements to the camera and better editing abilities will enable users to take on more creative feats.
As a key market for Samsung, Malaysian users are expected to be among the first in the world to get the new Galaxy S25 series with pre-orders taking place shortly after the global event. It isn’t clear if consumers are able to get their hands on the new phones ahead of the Chinese New Year holiday as it was speculated that the devices could be released only on 7th February 2025.
When it comes to processor, the new Galaxy is said to run on the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite with RAM as much as 16GB and storage of up to 1TB. Besides the usual Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra, Samsung has been speculated to introduce a new model that’s called the Galaxy S25 Slim. To test the water, it is said that the device would be released in limited quantities and released several months after the mainstream Galaxy S25 lineup.
