Gentari continues to expand its EV charging infrastructure and its latest deployment is at Larkin Sentral Johor. The new EV charging location is within the vicinity of the taxi stands, making it an ideal charging point for EV taxis serving Johor and Singapore. The charger is open to the public including non-taxi EV owners.
For the Larkin Sentral location, Gentari has deployed a 50kW DC charger with two CCS2 nozzles. Similar to other Gentari DC chargers, this location is priced at RM1.50 per kWh and you can activate it via the Gentari Go app.
If you have an annual Gentari Go membership, you can enjoy a discounted rate of RM0.75 per kWh.

For Singaporean users, we’ve been told that the Gentari Go app isn’t available on the Singaporean app store yet. However, users can scan the QR code on the terminals using the camera app and pay using Guest Mode via the web browser. Users can pay via credit card and select their preferred pre-authorisation amount (e.g. RM50, RM100 or RM150) on the web-based Gentari Go portal.
