Huawei FreeArc specs and features

As mentioned above, the Huawei FreeArc is the brand’s latest open-ear earbuds. In late 2023, Huawei also introduced another open-ear earbuds called the FreeClip.
What differentiates the FreeArc from the FreeClip however is its ear hooks, for a more secure fit. This makes the FreeArc a much more suitable choice for those who live a more active lifestyle, such as when running outside or working out at the gym.

Huawei claimed that its ergonomics research team analysed over 10,000 auricle curves and utilised a 3D ear database to create the FreeArc. This should mean that the FreeArc will fit most of your ears comfortably.
Additionally, the FreeArc is also Huawei’s first earbuds to be rated at IP57 for dust and water resistance, making it more durable than its peers.
In charge of producing audio is a 17 x 12mm high-sensitivity driver unit, featuring Huawei’s symmetrical acoustic structure, dynamic bass algorithm, and Adaptive Equal-loudness Algorithm. Huawei says this will help the FreeArc deliver punchy bass, along with richer and more detailed audio.

The company also mentioned that the FreeArc can ensure stable connections over long distances. This includes maintaining connections across a sports field with a 400-meter circumference and a 100-square-meter office.
In terms of audio pickup, the Huawei FreeArc is equipped with a dual-mic setup, along with “triple call noise cancellation” to block ambient noise during calls. However, it’s to be noted that this pair of earbuds does not come with active noise-cancelling functionality.
