The Huawei Mate XT, MatePad Pro 13.2 and FreeArc were launched in Malaysia last month and pre-orders are ending soon. Huawei Malaysia has issued a final call for customers to lock in their exclusive gifts and promotions before they are gone.
Here’s a recap of the three new devices and their pre-order promo.
Huawei Mate XT
The Huawei Mate XT is a tri-folding smartphone that’s super slim at 3.6mm at the thinnest point when unfolded. In Malaysia, the Huawei Mate XT Ultimate Design with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage is officially priced at RM14,999 and Huawei Malaysia is offering free 1-year screen protection worth RM3,999.
Pre-order customers can also enjoy an add-on deal promo where you can get a smartwatch or wireless earbuds at a discount. This includes the Huawei Watch GT 5 Pro (RRP: RM1,399) for RM699, and the Huawei FreeClip (RRP: RM899) for RM449.

In addition, Mate XT customers can enjoy AppGallery Benefits worth up to RM2,148 which include complimentary GHHS Healthcare screening and treatment and 25% off for Lexis Hotel Group.

The Huawei Mate XT is the world’s first tri-fold smartphone which can transform from a 6.41″ candy bar smartphone to a massive 10.2″ tablet display that pushes a 3K resolution of 3184×2232 pixels. The device runs on a Kirin 9010 chip paired with 16GB RAM and 1TB of storage.
The foldable device features an Ultra Aperture Xmage camera system which consists of a 50MP main camera with variable f/1.4-f/4.0 aperture, 12MP telephoto camera with 5.5x optical zoom and 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera. It also comes with a 8MP selfie shooter.
Despite being incredibly thin, the Huawei Mate XT still manages to get a large 5,600mAh battery that supports both 66W fast wired charging and 50W fast wireless charging.
Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2

If you’re looking for a flagship tablet, the Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2 with 12GB RAM + 512GB storage is officially priced at RM4,999 in Malaysia. It comes only in a single Premium Gold colour option and the tablet is WiFi only.
Customers who pre-order before 14th March 2025 will unlock exclusive gifts worth up to RM2,744 which include a Huawei Smart Magnetic Keyboard, Huawei M-Pencil (3rd Gen) and more.

To recap, the Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2 comes with a 13.2″ 144Hz PaperMatte OLED display that boasts a resolution of 2880×1920 pixels and peak brightness of 1000 nits. This is also the thinnest and lightest MatePad ever, weighing at just 580g and it has a thickness of 5.5mm. It also gets a 13MP main + 8MP ultra-wide angle camera for the rear, while the front gets a 16MP selfie shooter.
The device runs on a Kirin T92 chip which is cooled by an advanced 3D heat dissipation system. For greater productivity experience, you can pair the tablet with Huawei’s Smart Magnetic Keyboard and Huawei’s 3rd generation M-Pencil which offers 16,384 levels of pressure sensitivity.
The Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2 runs on a 10,100mAh battery and it supports fast wired charging up to 100W. With SuperCharge Turbo mode, you can charge the tablet from 0-80% in just 40 minutes.
Huawei FreeArc

Last but not least is the Huawei FreeArc, an open-ear headphones that’s priced at RM599 in Malaysia. It is available in 3 colours – Green, Black and Grey.
The Huawei FreeArc is available for pre-order until 24th March 2025 and customers can enjoy extra perks worth RM327. The perks include a Huawei Band 8, 1+1 year warranty and 2-year loss care.



Unlike the FreeClip, the FreeArc has an ear hook design that aims to offer a more secure fit for various activities including running and working out at the gym. It features a 17x12mm high-sensitivity driver unit and a dual-mic setup with “triple call noise cancellation”. The FreeArc also gets IP57 water resistance but it isn’t applicable for the charging case.
Users can control their music playback through swiping and tapping gestures on each of the earbud. The Huawei FreeClip offers up to 7 hours of music playback on a full charge and up to 28 hours in total with a full charged charging case.
