If you’re travelling to Saudi Arabia for Hajj, CelcomDigi has introduced a Hajj Roaming Pass for 2025 which provides “unlimited” data for RM138. This is a Saudi Arabia specific Roaming Pass and it supports three network operators in the country.
The Hajj Roaming Pass which costs RM138 is valid for 50 days. It provides users with 150GB of high-speed data, followed by unlimited data capped at 1Mbps. If there are incoming calls during your travel in Saudi Arabia, not to worry as CelcomDigi offers free unlimited incoming calls with the pass.
The pass is available for activation from 17th April until 30th June 2025.
The Hajj Roaming Pass is available for both Celcom and Digi prepaid and postpaid customers which can be activated via the Celcom Life and MyDigi apps. To purchase, just launch the app and select Add-ons/Buy Add-ons, and then select Roaming > Saudi Arabia. Click on 50-day Unlimited Hajj Pass to purchase.
Take note that for Celcom, the pass is valid for 1200 hours upon activation. For Digi customers, the pass expires at 11:59pm Malaysian time on day 50 of activation. The 50-day unlimited Hajj Pass is only applicable in Saudi Arabia and it doesn’t cover other countries that you may transit in.
With the roaming pass, users can connect to CelcomDigi’s 3 preferred network operators in Saudi Arabia – Mobily, STC and Zain KSA. If you need more data, they offer 5GB data (valid for 24 hours) for RM10. Users can also add on 15 minutes of voice calls (60-second block), applicable for calls to Malaysia and within Saudi Arabia (valid for 24 hours) for RM20.
If you’re not a CelcomDigi customer, the telco is also offering a CelcomDigi Prepaid Hajj Pack. It’s available at their dealer at Kursus Perdana Haji at Tabung Haji or at CelcomDigi stores nationwide until 30th June 2025.
Customers who face issues with roaming and require assistance can reach out to CelcomDigi via WhatsApp or dial *125# for help.
