Former Apache helicopter pilot Wesley Hunt, retired U.S. Army Capt. Jason Church, former Col. Stu Schiller and former Green Beret Rep. Michael Waltz, R-Florida, share their thoughts on the evolution of military culture in Modern Warriors: The War on Warriors.

The Department of Defense and military schools have been criticized for critical race theory and their efforts to promote diversity, equity and inclusion programs. Critics argued that the move sapped the will and energy of social justice efforts.

“If you have people in really important positions that can’t function, inevitably people die,” captain Jason Church said. “So if we prioritize politics over military effectiveness and readiness, we will lose the next war.”

Speaking on Fox Nation’s Modern Warriors program, four veterans, Hegseth, said the military should focus on meeting standards, not raising demands.
“It’s standard to be a Marine, it’s standard to be a top Air Force pilot or a Green Beret captain, and that’s it,” Waltz said. Either you meet the standards or you don’t because that should be the sole focus of the army and it is the norm, we need the best army to protect the homeland and defeat our enemies.
“Everyone has to conform, we want equality, we want a standard that we believe if you want to be an infantry officer, if you want to be an Apache pilot, whatever you want to be, you have to meet those standards. .” supported former Lt. Col. Stowe Schiller.
