If Tesla Malaysia’s RM30,000 discount for the Model Y Performance isn’t enough, they are now offering additional freebies to sweeten the deal. This includes a complimentary Tesla Universal Mobile Connector and direct delivery service of the EV to any location in the country.
Model Y Performance gets RM30K discount, free portable charger and free delivery
For a limited time, Tesla Malaysia has introduced an exclusive offer on any Tesla Performance models in their current inventory. The promo covers the Tesla Model Y Performance and the Tesla Model 3 Performance, but only the Model Y Performance is in stock at the time of writing.
If you’re eligible, you’ll receive a free Tesla Universal Mobile Connector (UMC) which is essentially a portable EV charger that utilises a 3-pin plug. This is great for balik kampung or road trips to remote areas as all you’ll need to charge is a 3-pin wall power outlet. The UMC costs RM1,500 and you can set the charging rate by adjusting the Amp rating from the car. The UMC comes with a 6-metre-long cable and you are advised to plug it directly into the wall outlet without any extension cord in between.
In addition, Tesla is also offering Tesla Direct Delivery to your doorstep anywhere in Malaysia. Typically, Tesla owners would need to pick up their new EVs from Tesla Centre Cyberjaya and this can be a hassle for buyers staying outside the Klang Valley. With this promo, you can order the Model Y Performance and have it delivered to your doorstep for free in any location in Malaysia.
To recap, the Tesla Model Y Performace is officially priced from RM280,000 without any extra options. With its current promo, you can save up to RM30,600 (from RM249,400) and they have 10 units in stock at the moment with various exterior and interior colour combinations. Do note that if you customise a new order, the Model Y performance still retails at the original price.
The Model Y Performance has twin motors and it has a rated 0-100km/h time of 3.7 seconds, up to a top speed of 250km/h. On a single charge, this EV has a WLTP-rated range of 514km.
Tesla Model 3 is still offered with interest rates from 0%
If you’re looking for the Tesla Model 3, they are still offering a low interest rate promo as low as 0%. However, take note that the 0% interest offer is only for the base RWD model that’s priced from RM181,000. The special financing package also requires you to take up a shorter 60-month (5-year) loan tenure with a 20% down payment. Alternatively, they offer a 0.78% rate with an 84-month duration but it requires a higher minimum downpayment of 25%.
