Huawei Malaysia has launched its latest Watch GT 5 series of smartwatches powered by Huawei TruSense. The new generation of smartwatches not only offers a refreshed design with premium materials but also improved accuracy and faster health tracking including emotional health.
The Huawei Watch GT 5 and GT 5 Pro will officially be available in Malaysia in early October and customers can now pre-order them and enjoy additional freebies worth up to RM528.

Huawei Watch GT 5 Pro Malaysia Specs and Features
The Huawei Watch GT 5 Pro comes in 46mm and 42mm size options which come with 1.43″ and 1.32″ AMOLED screens respective. Despite the size differences, both screens are pushing the same resolution of 466×466 pixels.
The larger 46″ GT 5 Pro gets a sporty sharp-edged design that features an aerospace-grade titanium alloy case, an eight-sided titanium alloy bezel and an iconic crown with a red ring. The Watch GT 5 Pro can be yours with either a Fluoroelastomer or a Titanium strap.
Meanwhile, the smaller 42″ variant features a nanocrystal ceramic body with golden leaf facets on the bezel and crown. Both versions are also fitted with sapphire glass for better durability. Due to the material used, the smaller watch costs more than the sporty-looking 46″ version. It comes with either a Fluoroelastomer or a Ceramic strap.
Like its predecessors, the Huawei Watch GT 5 Pro series boasts an impressive battery life. The 46mm version can last up to a maximum of 14 days on a single charge, with up to 9 days of typical use. Meanwhile, the 42mm version is rated to last up to 7 days with maximum battery life or up to 5 days with typical use.
The watch features Huawei’s latest TruSense system which offers optical heart rate, barometer, temperature, ECG and depth sensor. Besides stress and sleep monitoring, the new Watch GT 5 series allows you to keep track of your mental state with its exclusive Emotional well-being app. For added fun, Huawei also has animated watch faces to match your current state of mind.
The entire Watch GT 5 series supports over 100 workouts including golf as its latest addition. The new smartwatch has access to over 15,000 golf courses and provides detailed 3D views of the green, fairways and bunkers.
In terms of connectivity, the Watch GT 5 series supports NFC, Bluetooth, and L1+L5 satellite positioning with GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS and QZSS.
The Huawei Watch GT 5 Pro is also rated for 5-ATM and IP69K dust and water resistance, and it can be used for free diving up to 40 metres. The Huawei Watch GT 5 series is also compatible with Android and iOS smartphones, making it widely accessible to everyone.

The Huawei Watch GT 5 is the more affordable smartwatch offering which also provides the same flagship smartwatch health and fitness features powered by Huawei TruSense. Available in 46mm and 41mm, both smartwatches still offer AMOLED screens with 466×466 pixels resolution and they are also certified for 5 ATM and IP69K.
The Watch GT 5 features a stainless steel case and both sizes are offered with Fluoroelastomer, Composite Leather and Brown Woven strap options.
Similar to the GT 5 Pro, the larger 46mm smartwatch boasts up to 14 days of maximum battery life, while the smaller 41mm variant has up to 7 days of maximum battery life.
