Proton e.MAS 7 Specs and Features
The Proton e.MAS 7 is the national carmaker’s first ever EV and it is built on Proton-Geely’s Global Modular Architecture (GMA) platform. It features a single motor upfront that delivers 160kW (215hp) and 320Nm of torque, capable of propelling this SUV from 0-100km/h in just 6.9 seconds.
The Proton e.MAS 7 Prime comes with a 49.52kWh battery that provides a WLTP-rated range of up to 345km. Meanwhile, the Proton e.MAS 7 Premium gets a larger 60.22kWh battery that offers a longer 410km of WLTP-rated range.
Both variants support three-phase 11kW AC charging and DC fast charging of up to 100kW for the Premium model. According to Pro-Net, both e.MAS 7 variants can charge from 30-80% in around 20 minutes.
In addition, the Proton e.MAS 7 supports Vehicle-to-Load (V2L), a feature that turns the EV into a giant powerbank to power your home appliances up to 3.3kW.
Since this is an EV, the Proton e.MAS 7 has fewer things to replace under its schedule maintenance. According to the official service schedule, the EV only needs to be serviced once a year or every 20,000km after the initial 5,000km visit. There are no lubricants, spark plugs and transmission fluid to worry about. The listed scheduled items for replacement are the air filter, reduction gear, brake fluid and motor coolant.
