The Xiaomi 15 Ultra has officially announced for global markets and it is now available for purchase in Malaysia. Succeeding the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, this is Xiaomi’s ultimate photography-centric smartphone with quad-cameras co-developed with Leica. While it looks like a minor refresh, the new flagship now boasts an upgraded high-resolution ultra telephoto camera.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra Malaysia Price
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is now available for purchase in Malaysia in two storage options and here’s the official pricing:
- 16GB + 512GB – RM5,199
- 16GB + 1TB – RM5,699
The device comes in Black, White and Silver Chrome, and you can place your orders via the official store on Shopee or Mi.com.
As part of the pre-order promo, Xiaomi Malaysia is bundling the Xiaomi 15 Ultra Photography Kit Legend Edition worth RM799, Xiaomi OpenWear Stereo (worth RM599) and a RM100 rebate. That means, you can get the Xiaomi 15 Ultra for RM5,099 for the 512GB version and RM5,599 for the 1TB version.
The pre-order deal by Xiaomi Malaysia is available until 7th March 2025, while stocks last.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra Specs and Features
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is the range topping model in the Xiaomi 15 flagship series. Upfront, it gets a 6.73″ 3200×1440 WQHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display that boasts up to 3,200 nits of brightness.
As you would expect from a 2025 flagship, the device runs on Qualcomm’s top of the line Snapdragon 8 Elite processor paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.
The main star of the show is its Leica co-developed quad-camera array that’s housed in a round camera bump. It still features a 50MP f/1.63 main camera (23mm) with a Sony LYT-900 sensor which no longer offers a variable aperture lens as its predecessor. The biggest upgrade is its 200MP ultra telephoto zoom camera (100mm) that uses a large 1/1.4″ Samsung HP9 sensor that offers 4.3x optical zoom.
There’s also a secondary 50MP f/1.8 telephoto camera (70mm) with 3x optical zoom and a 50MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera. For selfies, the device retains a 32MP front shooter that sits in a punch hole.
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra now gets a larger 6,000mAh battery that supports 90W fast wired charging via USB-C and 80W fast wireless charging. It still offers stereo speakers and IP68 dust and water resistance.
Besides the black and white colour options, Xiaomi has also introduced a dual-tone black and silver option which mimics the look of classic cameras.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra Photography Kit Legend Edition
To maximise your photography experience with the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, there’s also an optional photography kit which has been upgraded from its predecessor. Besides giving it a more premium camera-like appearance with a sturdy grip, the kit also features detachable finger grip, replaceable shutter button, built-in 2,000mAh battery which provides additional 32% battery life. The camera grip connects to the USB-C port of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra and it is also splash resistant with an IP54 rating.
