In conjunction of Ramadan, Aeon Bank is running several campaigns to help its customers maximise their savings and earn extra rewards for their daily Ramadan Raya shopping. To help ensure your Raya plans go smoothly, the digital bank is also offering its collateral-free shariah-compliant financing where customers can obtain funds of up to RM10,000.
10x Aeon Points for Ramadan, equivalent to 5% cashback
From 1st March to 6th April 2025, Aeon Bank Debit Card-i customers can earn 10x Aeon Points for any purchases made at participating Aeon Stores. For every RM1 spent, cardholders will earn 10x Aeon Points, which is equivalent to 5% cashback.
The participating stores for the 10x Aeon Points promo include Aeon, Aeon Big, MaxValue, Wellness and Daiso, as listed on their terms and conditions. The Aeon Points can be converted to cash instantly via the Aeon Bank app at a conversion rate of 200 points = RM1.
Aeon Bank offers Shariah-compliant Personal Financing up to RM10,000
Aeon Bank has also recently rolled out its Personal Financing-i product where customers can get Shariah-compliant financing of up to RM10,000 with fast approval and disbursement.
As part of their promo from 5th to 31st March 2025, the first 500 eligible customers will receive guaranteed Aeon Points worth up to RM50 upon successful Personal Financing-i disbursement.
According to the app, the product is open to all Malaysian citizens residing and working in Malaysia, aged between 18 and 55 years old with a minimum monthly gross income of RM3,000. Customers can apply for financing amount between RM1,000 to RM10,000, with tenure periods between 3 months to 24 months.
From what we can see from the app, the Personal Financing-i has an indicative flat profit rate is 6.88% p.a. and there’s a Wakalah fee of RM1.00. Customers will need to provide updated information which include updated employment details for further processing.
Once the application is approved, customers will receive a notification and they can tap accept to proceed. The approved amount will be credited immediately to your Aeon Bank Savings Account-i.
Neko Cruiser at Ramadan Bazaars
To engage with the public, Aeon Bank has also kicked off its Neko Cruiser which will be making an appearance at three Ramadan Bazaar locations. Below is the schedule for the next three weeks:
- 13 – 15 March 2025, 4 pm onwards : Bazar Ramadan Kg Melayu Majidee, Johor Bahru
- 20 – 22 March 2025, 4 pm onwards : Bazar Ramadan Pandan Indah, Kuala Lumpur
- 25 – 27 March 2025, 4 pm onwards : Bazar Ramadan Mahkota Square, Kuantan
According to Aeon Bank, Neko Cruiser is a roving interactive financial inclusion hub that aims to connect local communities with Shariah-compliant digital banking solutions, while providing on-ground support for those looking to transition to cashless transactions. The team will also be there to assist with the onboarding process while the public can redeem Aeon Bank official merchandise when they download the app, open their Savings Account-i and participate in the O2O activities.
