The first batch of Denza D9 buyers in Malaysia will soon receive their EVs, just a month after its official launch. Denza Malaysia is hosting a Denza and BYD Electrifying Experience event this weekend at Plaza Arkadia and they are expected to have a grand delivery ceremony for the first 200 owners.
Besides the Denza D9, the Denza Z9 GT will also be showcased to the public.

As teased on their social media accounts, the first 200 owners are expected to pick up their EVs this Saturday, 15th March 2025 at Plaza Arkadia in Desa ParkCity.
The Denza D9 is a luxury 7-seater fully electric SUV that competes against the likes of the Toyota Alphard and Vellfire. According to Denza, they have sold 800 units of the Denza D9 in Malaysia within the first week of launch.

To celebrate the occasion, Denza and BYD will be showcasing their latest lineup with test drives available for the public which also include the Denza D9. The event is happening from 14th to 16th March 2025 (Friday to Saturday), from 10am to 10pm at Plaza Arkadia, Desa ParkCity in Kuala Lumpur.

Another star attraction is the Denza Z9 GT, a fastback model that can perform a “crab-walk” at 15-degrees using its active rear steering. In China, the Z9 GT is offered in either plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and battery electric vehicle (BEV) options which feature a triple-motor setup. The presentation and preview of this vehicle will be scheduled every two hours during the event.
To recap, the Denza D9 is priced at RM259,000 for the Advanced model and RM309,000 for the Premium Model. The Advanced Model is the single-motor FWD version that pushes 230kW (308hp) and 360Nm of torque, while the Premium model has a twin-motor AWD setup that delivers 270kW (396hp) and 479Nm of torque.
Both Denza D9s are equipped with a 103.36kWh LFP battery that supports up to 11kW AC charging and up to 166kW of DC fast charging. The D9 Advanced can do 0-100km/h in 9.5 seconds and has a WLTP-rated range of up to 520km. Meanwhile, the D9 Premium can do 0-100km/h quicker at 6.9 seconds but the WLTP-rated range is reduced, at up to 480km on a single charge.
According to Denza Malaysia, customers who place their order for the D9 MPV during the event or any of their outlets until 16th March can enjoy exclusive launch privileges. This includes a complimentary wall box with an installation card and a six-year free service package.
