'Entertainment Tonight' Anchors Kevin Frazier, Nischelle Turner To Host Palm Springs International Film Awards

Kevin Fraser and Nichelle Turner of Entertainment Tonight will host the 2023 Palm Springs International Film Awards.

The award show will return to the Palm Springs Convention Center on January 5. The Palm Springs International Film Festival runs through January 16.

“The Palm Springs International Film Awards have been co-hosted with Entertainment Tonight since 2004, and during those 18 years, Mary Hart has worked hard to create the show. Frazier is a six-time Emmy Award winner and host of Entertainment Tonight. He has interviewed some of Hollywood's biggest stars, from Oprah Winfrey to Brad Pitt and Beyoncé. Frazier joined the program as host in September 2014, to coincide with the start of its 34th season.

Turner is the host of the show, who has won seven Emmy Awards. In 2014 he joined Entertainment Tonight as a correspondent and in 2021 became a co-host. Turner is an award-winning journalist who has won six Emmy Awards for programming and is affiliated with CNN, where she has appeared on the entertainment segments of CNN Newsroom, New Day, and CNN Tonight. He hosts and produces the CBS's summer series Secret Celebrity Renovation, which begins its second season in August 2022, and The Big Podcast with Shaq.

The 2023 Palm Springs International Film Awards will go to Cate Blanchett (Palm Desert Achievement Award, Actress), Austin Butler (Breakthrough Performance Award, Actress), Viola Davis (Chairman Award), Danielle Dedwyler (Breakthrough Performance Award, Actress), Colin Farrell. (Desert Palm Award, Actor), Bill Nighy (Star International Award, Actor), Sarah Polley (Director of the Year Award), Michelle Yeoh (Star International Award) and The Fabelmans (Vanguard Award).

"Entertainment Tonight" will broadcast this year's winners Friday at 7 p.m. on KESQ-TV (Palm Springs) and at 7:30 p.m. for Los Angeles residents. The segment will repeat Saturday at 8 p.m. in Palm Springs and 7 p.m. in Los Angeles.
