EXCLUSIVE . After 15 years at Charles Roven's Atlas Entertainment, where he served as Executive Vice President, producer Andy Horvitz founded Big Swell Entertainment, a production collective dedicated to welcoming the next generation of young creators. and storytellers.
Big Swell will seek to take a different approach from the traditional production company model, allowing producers to work independently under the Big Swell banner while maintaining a team and collaborative approach with the support of all creators involved. Horwitz is currently assembling his team, having already put together a solid list of projects in various stages.
Horwitz supports Mountaintop Productions, a Tel Aviv-based production company founded by Hez and Omri Bezalel. In partnership with Bezalels, Big Swell plans to use Mountaintop's relationship base with Israeli and European content companies to bridge the gap between those regions and Hollywood.

Horvitz brings to Big Swell a foundation of deep creative relationships and a wealth of experience navigating the Hollywood landscape, working primarily within the studio system to help move films from concept to release. In 2019, Horwitz produced Triple Frontier by JC Chandor starring Ben Affleck, Oscar Isaac, Charlie Hunnam, Gareth Hedlund and Pedro Pascal which was released by Netflix on March 6, 2019 and began streaming 13 times with over 63 views. . . million accounts and over 120 million people in the first four weeks.
